This Privacy Policy explains how MCPLD LLC ("Lucenta", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Lucenta and the website at lucenta.ai (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Email address — when you request a free audit report, sign in, or contact us. We use a passwordless "magic link" sign-in, so we do not store passwords.
• Messages you send us — the contents of any enquiry you submit through our contact form.
• Brand and domain data — the websites, brands, and related details you submit to be audited.
• Billing details — when you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we keep customer and subscription identifiers and limited billing metadata returned by Stripe.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar log data, used for security, abuse prevention, and improving the Service.
• Cookies — essential cookies (sign-in session), a functional cookie that remembers the audits you ran on this device, and a security cookie used by Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots.

Information generated by the Service

• Audit results — the reports, scores, and analyses we generate by querying third-party AI assistants about the brands and domains you submit.

2. How we use information

We use information to: operate and provide the Service and your audits; authenticate you; process subscriptions and billing; respond to your enquiries; prevent abuse and secure the Service; communicate with you about your account and the Service; and improve and develop new features.

3. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the Service); and your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. How we share information

We share information with service providers ("sub-processors") who help us run Lucenta:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional, sign-in, and contact emails.
• AI and search providers — to produce your audits, we send the brand, domain, and generated questions to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, and DataForSEO. These providers process that data to return responses we analyse.
• Cloudflare — bot and abuse protection (Turnstile).
• Hostinger — hosting and infrastructure.

We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

6. Data retention

We keep account and audit data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
